Government funded quality sessional care

As a registered charity, St. Christopher’s Pre-School is administered by volunteers known as the Committee.  Without a Committee our Pre-School would be unable to function.  The success of our Pre-School relies on the staff, parents and our committee working together for the benefit of the children.  We always welcome new volunteers to join the committee, no matter how little time you have to spare.  We hold an AGM at the end of each spring term when a new committee is formed, however, you can join the committee at any time.  If you are interested in joining the committee please speak to a member of staff.

All our committee members also receive Criminal Records Bureau clearance.

Our Committee

Our Policies folder is always available for you to view at every session and is located on our entrance table.

Our prospectus is available upon request.

The Pre-School staff prides themselves on being friendly and welcoming to all parents, carers and their children.  All our staff members work full time providing continuity with the children and their families.  All of  our staff have been gainfully employed in Early Years for  over ten years.

All of  our staff undertake continuous training  through Southampton Early Years Partnership, Pre-School Learning Alliance and other agencies.  All of  our staff have Safeguarding training, all hold updated First Aid certificates and all staff receive Criminal Records Bureau clearance.
